![]() This is a link on how to install 3rd party content into Daz Studio. (This first time I also hadn’t scaled it correctly when importing it into Daz.) That doesn’t explain the axe I had made in SketchUp though, with its geometry problems. In that one some color came through but the table was missing its legs, tabletop, and the rims of the two lights.Īs I understand it, you are supposed to “explode” the model before exporting it, according to one source, so I may try the lamp & table one more time. Next is the Green Lantern and table where I tried two different files, the first, an OBJ file. In that the curves were complete and no straight lines ran through them. Mine had a lot of geometry problems that weren’t in the original model I made. Link in 3D Warehoue where I found the ready-made Battle Axe: I seem to have distorted the blade a little bit while using the Scale Tool. ![]() It still needs to be scaled down somewhat. The one from 3D Warehouse imported beautifully. I first imported my green lantern with the table, then 2 different battle axe models, one I made from scratch and then one ready-made one. (There’s a proper way to install 3rd party content I just don’t know how to do that yet, but I’ve left a link for it below this post). ![]() After exporting a SketchUp model as an OBJ file you can then import them with partial success into Daz Studio but sometimes geometry problems are there and no color gets imported with the model.
